Non-Fired Ceramic Techniques
These products are quick and fun to use, and don't require firing in the kiln after painting. They are fantastic on figurines like wildlife, scenic vases, angels, dragons, or on holiday items like snowmen, Santas scarecrows, etc.). Learning various ways to make these things look the most realistic or appropriate for the project (wet brushing, oil sticks, translucents, shading, washes, corner loading, etc.). These items are not food or dishwasher safe but can be wiped down as needed.
Fired Ceramic Techniques using Colors For Earth Fired Products
Beautiful techniques can be done on figurines and flat surfaces as well following designs or creating your own. You can even use the One Stroke flower technique with CFE fired products. This technique is usually more glossy and is the choice for food safe items (platters, plates, mugs etc) or other useful items like trivets, jewelry boxes, vases and decorator items that you need water tight or want a glossier finish.
